About Social Theory Watch and Clary Jaxon

Clary Jaxon created the Social Theory Watch website out of concern for disturbing social trends in today's North America. Particularly Canada. The internet and social media has become a crucial instrument for entrenching extreme ideological values that create unnecessary fears, anger and unfair treatment among our society. These extreme ideological beliefs have a dual purpose for manipulating emotions as well as justifying funding dollars for groups, charities and/or politicians that play a dominant role in perpetuating constructed social theories. These constructs are often based on grossly misinterpreted statistical data. Pervasive extreme social theories can dangerously result in lynch mob mentality, bad court decisions,  unfair policy shifts, legislation changes, stripping of human rights, legal rights and the erosion of the most basic principles of fundamental justice. The consequences of these actions -  intended or unintended, collectively or individually -  are brutal, unfair and detrimental to the fabric of society.

The root cause of these issues often become taboo, too uncomfortable, or too politically unpopular to raise in a public forum such as the mainstream media. Extreme fanatical beliefs have been instilled by 'authoritative' figures such as university professors, vocal extremist activists, politicians,  and supreme court decisions influenced by ideological interpretation.

Clary Jaxon aims to use the internet as a platform to highlight dangerous ideological influence on Canadian society, providing counter perspectives and actual data for a critical evaluation of the realities of social conditions. Topics touch on US, UK and other countries that are also affected.
